Introducing: Star, born in 2014. She is a small, chestnut mare quarter horse cross. She is a guest horse who came to us in November of 2019 for recovery. She had been grossly neglected where she had been kept before. Since arriving at Wild Horse Farm, we have de-wormed and de-ticked her, as well as, foot trimmed her.
Star has access to excellent grazing, and is receiving hard feed. She has gained weight, and been accepted into the herd very well. In these pictures, you can see her transformation so far. Star is not involved in the kids’ programme yet. We are focusing all of our attention on helping her to recover, before introducing her to any of the orphans.
If you feel a connection to Star, you can support her through prayers or your donation. Visit our Sponsor a Horse page.
